I ran a ported open port #3 jug and piston with old nasty rings, a hi-torque head, 14 bing with the front half of a pinto air box and panty hose for a filter, 14 intake, Proma GP, stock 2 shoe with shoes at 70g and springs maxed out, 16x45, timed at 1.8 btdc, .18 gap b6hs; all fresh Naichi bearing and double lip seals on a stock crank.
I felt like i was running just under 40's most of time but had no lowend, I spent maybe an hour on tuning it, got it to where I knew it would make the ride and called it a day. All said and done I had a couple days work and maybe $300 bucks and some junk that was laying around the garage invested in this, well worth the cost of entry.
Stay tuned to find out when and where the next killer will be.
