It doesn’t feel right with out the “I KNOW WHAT I GOT!!”
i thought i was nuts
I love post like this va DC md is really poppin with over priced ads for our area right now
when you pay 450k for a 1200 sq ft house, mopeds have to follow.
“Too much to list” my favorite sentence to read in an add.
Maybe a 0 was added by mistake. (edited)
You can work on you $450 moped for a year straight.....no days off. Still worth $450 to the average moped rider.
You can throw 2k in parts at it......still worth $450.
Part it out you probably can get a 1/4 of the 2k back.
Some rando sees your bike in the wild, falls in love with it, has money and no idea about mopeds or pricing.......you may get 2k for a bike that would bring only close to $500 in a normal market.
My neighbor had me work on his fucking $150 streetmate paint the plastics and all other kinds of shit. Paid me for the work. Drove it for a week and someone offed him $1200 for it. He sold it right away! He was like fuck I am going to get into flipping mopeds. I said leave me the fuck out of it. He tried to do it this time himself with another friend. Got another streetmate for $250 this time and figured he would get close to 2k. After they spent 3 weeks fucking with this thing. Frying CDIs chasing wiring problems. Fucked up clutches they finally got it going. Listed it for 2k people laughed at them and they ended taking a loss and selling it at $350 to just get out of the game.....moral of the story is price is controlled by what the market will pay. You may get a home run one day but it is few and far between.
I have no 'CLUE' but it definitely is a CON... some idiot will fall for it...
CAUTION....Do not meet anyone in Baltimore with CASH for ANY vehicle for sale...
Yeah, I have no idea who this is....but they are fucking dreaming.
