vespas sure seem hot from where i'm sitting, i built my ciao twice this year and got a bravo on deck.
seems like the derbi and hobbit crazes are finally breaking a bit, still lots getting built but maybe people aren't so stoked on them as they were a year or two ago.
tomos seem to be having a little resurgence buoyed by 'Tomos America' importing bikes again... always good to have future junk coming in and hopefully some new blood brought in by the lower barrier to entry. Also great that stupid fucking Hidria isn't running that program into the ground anymore. win win win.
dirtbikes and enduros as always #1 trend in mopeds....

I'm glad we're somewhat over the Hobbit. If I ever do a variated ped I'm leaning towards the Vespa. Still trying to ooch a bit more out of Sachs and of course, Jawa.

u could really do some next lvl shyt on a custom made bike though. im talkin rear hand disc, tapered headset, pegs, engine/crash bars, lever guards, hydro forks, remote vents for crank case, beefy rack you can stand on, ooo maybe a tilotson or some crazy carb that can work at all angles. People do it with all kinds of motorpickles so why not mopeds lol

As to mopeds Honda is always hot, so much you can do, but they learned from Vespa, would love to try one out, only seen one irl, a Ciao Shelly had for a while, sold pretty quick, thing was super tiny, looked cool, but not sure how comfortable I would be on one. A Grande might fit my old self better. :)
