I had an ECU, and Fuel Pump go out on an 07 Metropolitan...the electric stuff will never be as reliable and easy to fix like to old stuff, the tradeoff is the engine may see a little more raw gas than with injection therefore the engine may wear out sooner.
No more cleaning the tank and carb, and filing the points after sitting in a garage 20 years, the new ones would be an expensive cluster fuck compared to the old stuff.
