I Found my 4th mo-ped in the metal pile at the county landfill today. Its a 1976 Puch Makie Luxe. Paint and all is in good shape, engine turns over and all. Its the dark maron ( kinda brownish) color. I will post pics of it soon.

I saw two puchs at the landfill 2 years ago, but i had never seen a moped before, and left them there. I wish I had taken them now. Your a lucky bastard

Dude, that's awesome. I know a guy who works at the dump and he always finds cool treasures. I'd always be bring home cool junk.
The other day I was talking to a lady at a garage sale. We were talking about mopeds and stuff. After a while she said she had an old motorcycle I could have if I had any use for it. Her idiot kid ran it without oil and blew the engine. We go into her backyard and there's a Trail 90 sitting there. I did my best to contain my excitement.
I went to pick it up and it was in way worse shape than i thought. Must have been sitting for ten years or so. The wheels wouldn't even turn. But there were a few decent parts on it, so I just gave it to my bro-in-law who's a Trail90 nut.
And that's the story of how I owned a Trail90 for five minutes. I always wanted one. So the lesson for all you kiddies is: Be nice and talk to lots of people. You'd be suprised how many have mopeds and other junk they're willing to give away for nothing. When I was a kid, I bought a moped for $3 that wasn't running. Wish I still had it now.
your lucky, my friend saw a moped at the dump one time and didnt get it, he came home and called and was liek hey i just saw a moped at the dump, i was u idiot why didnt u get it and he was like oh i didnt even think about it, i went down there to grab it and it was gone
whenever you see a frog, kiss it. That's how I got one of my peds. Mind you, it's hard holding the handlebars with these tiny webbed hands.
IT RUNS! Got it running at 10:30. It needs a new mufler though. Then entire muffler, not just the back half. But never the less it does run. DOsent like to idel but ill fine tune it tomarrow.

That's awesome. In your state do you have to have a title and plates or can you just go riding without all the headaches?
Hop on it an go. As long as you have a normal drivers lisence. No tags or reg required.
