The less ethanol, the better for small engines. Don't know about now, but Stihl used to void warranties on people buying the cheap,ethanol gas. They tested it when the customer brought in the problem engine.
That was before the stupid gov't made it almost impossible to get gas without ethanol. The customer had a choice then, so Stihl punished them for it.
Now you all can SAY that ethanol doesn't hurt, but Stihl had scientific reasons for taking its use so seriously.
