I'm with you. I run ethanol free, 91 octane as well. For the same true reasons. Red Line is good oil. I use Klotz TechniPlate, usually. Bel-Ray if I'm in a pinch and have to buy it local.
Plus, after ethanol and gasoline separate, and the petrol evaporates, you're left with a chunk of corn-colored plastic in the bottom of your tank and carburetor.
