Thanks Alex! Being a moped rider in the late 70's, and collecting for the last 12 years. I have a shit ton of pics. I'll probably bump this thread for a long time.
I see one MB5 with plates and one without. I'm pretty sure those need registration.
I'd guess you're talking about the Garelli? They're the original covers wire-brush/ polished down to bare metal, then decal ed, clear-coated (with VHT hi-temp caliper paint) and baked. It's been 3 years and has held up perfectly.
My favorite thing about that build is the tail light from a 66' Sears Sabre (with the same treatment). (edited)
^ Very nice!
@keller, I would agree! @Hill, So nice, however why wouldn't you knock the rust off that pedal shaft pulley?
I actually scotchbrited it and clearcoated over the rust as the brown hue seemed to fit with the theme of the bike. One of the things I've disliked about all the pics of that build is the lighting that doesn't show it well. It looked perfect in person!
You might have my fav on the thread (Malaguti 4-sp.)

Haha. Rode there many many times. I grew up like 2 miles from there.
