Can you post a photo of the pliers in question?
Mike
Yeah I have 2 different sizes of those. I love them. Saved my ass a few times, especially on old motorcycle carburetor bolt extraction.
Yup! Seen similar, called Neji Saurus.
Been tempted, but didn't buy them.
Can anyone else confirm this kind of tool is essential????
Been operating for a very long time without them. So maybe useful but d ed definitely not essential

That's kind of how I feel...….
hacksaw
mole grips
chisel and hammer
a multitude of other pliers
angle grinders of various sizes
I was on another site and a guy used them to remove a recesssed stud bolt,so I thought I would share.
Vamplires is a great name too!
Made in Japan and not China. The steel should be of good quality then.

Ya they are OK only, i only used them a handful of times, nothing that a big screwdriver and strong hands can’t do basically !
I want a locking visegrip version!
not essential but nice to have tools are great. if it works better, that rules.
I can see these being useful but not sure I could justify it
These are snap-on. Basically a sawed-off pair of needle nose with a hole in the front with lots of teeth.
The hole in the nose works great for deep in a hole action. The short stout nose doesn't smear sideways or slip off the side of the work like a standard pair of needle nose, and the hole has plenty of teeth to keep a firm bite on the part.
The pistol grip handles make them more ergonomic for biting ahold with the hole in the front and pulling straight out.
I bought them because i'm a sucker for any kind of pliers that are sprung open. Can't say i've found a unique purpose for them, other than grabbing them after failing to keep ahold of something with a regular pair of needle nose.
They definitely have a hell of a bite compared to many of my other pliers.
^DAMN that is a sweet pair of pliers. Now I want one of those

Japanese tools are awesome
I have some Vessel screwdrivers they make all others seem like dollar store crap
With the style they are forged in I believe these would be in the lineman plier
