newest ride up and runnin

I'm pretty proud of " the dutchess of money pits" she's probably my favorite bike I have now. She's gonna be a ripper when broken in! I need to work out some issues it still has mainly getting the lights to work. I rebuilt the 103 motor and initially put a Doppler 50cc kit, a Doppler crank, the lepartie cdi unit , a Sha 1616, I believe Athena reeds, and derestricted the stock exhaust can. She had a massive airleak at the case halves so the motor had to be torn back down. After doing so I noticed the cylinder had a small crater above one of the ports. So I got what I believe is a more durable non aluminum cylinder, the polini 70 cast iron. This mondial is incredibly comfortable to ride and in my opinion a rather flashy ride. Thanks for everyone's help!

Sweet! Very, very cool:)

Re: newest ride up and runnin

I'm pretty firm in that I would never want French moped tech, but the Mondial is the exception to that rule for me. I want one pretty badly.

Re: newest ride up and runnin

It does variate. Looks pretty wild swinging back and forth. Definitely quite an interesting design. The tank and the fairings are also a pleasing design. I was exstatic when I saw it on marketplace it was advertised as a 78 bavatavas moped. I said to myself " that ain't no starflight, that's special"

Great bike, love mine. Bat body and pug engine, best of all worlds.
