Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

We're in the Southern Arizona desert .

Currently :

Sunny

100°F

FEELS LIKE 100°F

It's kinda hot , in the shade .

Humidity is up to 5% . It was at 3% a bit earlier .

I'll ride after the sun settles down a bit . Ther's 2 tracks just about anywhere through the desert . Just have to watch out for soft sand and burrows and such .

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

88 and sunny in San Diego today. Pretty damn good riding weather and I've been stuck inside all day at work. Hoping to get some riding in this weekend

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

5% humidity, that's amazing. Could have ridden, dry enough, but only about 35 today, close to 50 tomorrow, still snow hanging around, prob going to wait until may, so any and all precip will be rain and not snow. I have covers, but if it snows sometimes the plows show up, they are not careful people, a covered moped could look like a drift to be put "over there" :/ Glad you are enjoying the weather! MN has some awful winters, but our springs, summer's and especially fall are beautiful.

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

80s are good temps . Shorts & T shirt .

I spent close to 60 years in West Michigan . I know all about that snow stuff . LOL

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

For shame , Don . Why didn't you just toss one in the trunk before you left the North country ?

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

No. Need more global warming.

My moped (the StreetMate probably) won't get transferred until I can ride. I bought this fixer-upper and have been too busy this stint to ride, but I will remedy that,I hope, soon.

The first trip down here, the van was really loaded down, but I could've brought it.

Just not time yet. don-ohio

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

I ride year round. It'll be 60 today. I was riding in the snow 2 days ago running errands. Ohio weather.

@PD I kayak. I have neoprene gear that doubles as riding gear, and a good set of eye protection/snow mobile goggles . Cold doesn't have that much effect or is a deterrent. But i get you, cold kills.......

Alberto Einsteiner /

I just put snowmobile stickers on the side of my moped and ride in the snow nobody notices.

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

56 degrees right now and has been raining off and on the last 2 weeks.

Good ol Bay Area for ya.

I use to have neoprene waders . I always carried seam sealer .

But , they always kept me warm , even in seemingly ice cold trout streams .

Last time I was in San Francisco , it was late August and the worst we had to worry about was the evening fog rolling in . Maybe I was just lucky . ;)

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

Around 68f (20c) here all week, but gotta work and no working moped. Just glad i work outside so i get to enjoy the weather anyway.

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

Seems like a great time to ask Trump to build that wall around Ohio, and ask Florida to pay for it.

Re: Is it riding weather in your neighborhood ?

80deg right now in New Orleans and BEAUTIFUL out... riding season lasts all year, except maybe a few weeks during the "middle of winter".
