Come join us this year at Prairie City Kart Track for some Moped racing fun!

This is the first time we are racing at this facility but the track looks amazing. We wanted to try a place more accessible to everyone. For years people have driven down from Seattle/Portland/SF/Sacramento/Reno. We finally have a track that is much easier for most everyone to get to!

I want to thank everyone involved for putting on this event! Every year is always more fun then the last. Looking forward to see you all again <3

Safety stuff:

Need a helmet made within the last 10 years

Jacket/Pants/Pads required.

Try not to have exposed bar ends, or hard metal pedals that can rip up the track.

Catch cans on your carbs if you can reasonably run them.

Safety wire not required, but recommended!

We will also have a ride around the town, since this is a state park please have plates/legal vehicles.

IMPORTANT:

Try to come Friday or very early Saturday morning!

There is another event at the park this weekend expecting over 30k visitors. You may have heard of it. http://hangtownmx.com/ This means the entry to the facility will be very busy most the day Saturday. You best bet is to come Friday or Saturday morning to beat the rush.

Let me know if you have any questions! See you soon!

Re: MOPED GP 2018: West - Prairie City Kart Track (Sacramento, CA) - May 18th-20th

I’ll lead a ride from downtown Sac Friday night if enough people want to ride to the track and camp! It’s about 20 miles.

Of course! Harbor Freight has pads that work well too if anyone needs cheap pads. You won't regret it after your first fall :)
