Can anyone help find a seller of the kickstart spring for the Franco Morini M1K engine shown in the attached picture. It is on a BSA Junior childs bike from around 1980. The kickstart is depressed in a backwards motion rather than the forward kick motion.
I am trying to get this bike on the road for a Christmas present, so far with no luck.

I suppose you have already taken a few measurements and gone to your local hardware to see if they have a spring that you could adapt .
Even though the spring tips might have different shapes than needed , they can be easily reshaped after applying a bit of heat .
