I feel like almost everyone slammed their stock handlebars on their first moped. Folks'll give ya a hard time for lotsa that kinda stuff, but only cuz we're mostly all guilty. #1) don't take any of it to heart. its hard to read inflection in text on a forum, but most of the time you get a few jabs, especially when yer new, but it's almost always intended in fun
#2) Lenny is a new troll, and a pretty good one, laugh with him, rather than be laughed at by him
#3) cool bike, it'll be a lot of fun. You'll quickly learn that these require way too much maintenance, but eventually you'll figure it all out and it'll be great. Tomos are awesome for reliability, performance and aftermarket support, but they've got transmission trouble you'll need to take care of eventually. it's all been done and documented and the details and all are readily available here. learn to search first before asking though - most every Q has an A, and if you just toss the same old question out, some sour old bums'll rip you apart for it.
