I am going to be moving to Madison, WI in July and am wondering if there's anyone from here up there? I know Milwaukee, Green Bay and Minneapolis people, but anyone from Madison? Hit me up, let's wrench and ride...

Billybird here, I've been riding my Tomos noped for 5 yrs. Rebuilt twice and wrench knowledgeable. Scooter Therapy is on the East side and knows his stuff.
I'm 61 yo so not the dude you wanna hang out wit but I drink and fix things.
Which UW dept. are you in? I work for Veterinary Med Hosp. facilities
Next week I hope to be riding to work often. Coolest ped in town.

i work on mopeds and drink but i wouldn't call what i do 'fixing'
more like the line between fishing and catching.
chris cheezy gandolfo is in madison, he's kinda the rock of the moped community there. lots of other people but many of them are transient. best ya hit up cheezy.

Was down at the capital last week and saw two different guys riding a tomos targa step through. Maybe they will chime in.

Just started getting back into mopeds for the first time since I moved to Madison. I moved out here a few years ago for work and put my mopeds in storage since I didn't have space at my apartment. Im in a place downtown with a bit more space now though. Finally have my mini-Magnum build going again and I'm working on a Pinto and a new Magnum at the moment. As you might be able to tell, I only know e50s. And not as well as most on here... But I should have at least one up and running at any given point this summer!

Lots of nice lakeside/neighborhood rides here. People sometimes smile and laugh when I cut the motor and pedal on the many bike paths. You might even catch an eyeful of thong cape scooter man if you play your cards right.

Thank you so much everyone for responding! It gives me some piece of mind knowing that not everyone out there rides scooters. Like I said I'll be up there full time in July so maybe we can throw together a get-together and you guys can show me your favorite rides....I'll keep in touch!

Thought I'd jump in on this oldish thread. I just got a 78 Pinto2 running and would love to hang/wrench/drink. I'm a motorcycle guy but got the Moped as a winter project. Need to get it titled.
