Finally got this puppy dialed in. Thanks to all who made suggestions. The secret was the idle channel on the bottom of the #24 Bing slide. Myrons Mopeds suggested filling in the channel with epoxy to richen up the idle. I completely filled it in, put in a .217 atomizer with #67 jet, and moved the needle to the bottom position for maximum richness. It's not perfect, but it runs strong and idles at about 4K RPMs. Would like to get it closer to 2k, but not sure it's worth it. Besides, at 50cc a high idle doesn't create that much vibration and it's not too loud. She's now a sweet little ride. Forgot to mention, I moved the condenser from beneath the flywheel to the stock outside coil for ease of access. Will post pics if anyone's interested.

That's awesome man. Great job. I found a clapped out g3 in a junkyard for $50. The motor was toast so I am pitting a V1 our V2 motor in it. Haven't decided yet. Haha

Good find, Richard. The wheels alone are worth that. The frame will accomodate any horizontal engine. I removed the from frame braces to accomodate a verical engine. The first thing I would do is strip it down and paint the frame, then convert the wheels to sealed bearings to keep out dirt and grime. Good luck with your build, keep us posted.

Owner wants another bike, so he's selling it for $250 shipped. Was gonna post a FS on here later but wanted to find someone with a bike it'd fit first. Same stud spacing as honda hobbit.

Interesting Max. Just wondering what I'd gain from the kit. Stock engine is powerful. Can you take some measurements of the spacing for the jug?

Torque in excess, and lots of revs. The porting on this kit is serious business. I'll get some measurements tomorrow and do a full FS post.

It's up in the for sale section. spacings are 50mm center to center, holes are 8mm, wrist pin is 12mm, and stroke is 43mm.

Don't think it will fit, Max. My engine is too old. Bought it from a shop where it had been sitting on a shelf since 70s. Never had oil in it when I mounted it in the frame. Anyway, will take some measurements later today. Good luck finding a buyer.
