i have a80 Puch maxi 1 1/2hp fire right up ,high rpms on the stand ,but when i put my weight on and try to go it doesn't have the power to get it going on its own.if i help along to get start it will get up to about 23mph on hills it bogs down.
cleaned exhuast,carb,new fuelvalve,cond. points. the carb has a 64 jet.any help would be appreciated Thanx Dan
64 is a really big jet you might want to try a 48 to 56

i bet thats the problem u have to gget a smaller get i have an 84 puch that goes 30 up hill and 35 on straights i think some one put a tiny one in ther because it screams
The leaner you can run it without burning a piston or getting too hot the faster it will run, this also applies to the oil mix too, BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CHANGING FACTORY MIX RATIO, smaller jet=leaner
