Re: The most EXPENSIVE moped exhaust ever: Build thread

Please make a build thread. That shit is so rad. Also please PM me if you can tell me secrets or give me advice about the za50 clutch. I'm going to buy the parts soon and figure it out myself but Id like your help if you dont mind sharing. But seriously make a build thread.

Re: The most EXPENSIVE moped exhaust ever: Build thread

I finally threw this ped up on '77 garage so go check it out and give it a like there if you feel it.

The sequel

The most EXPENSIVE moped exhaust ever - 2: Titanium Boogaloo.

I actually made this Ti pipe awhile back and just wanted to post it up while bumping this original thread. Its based on BK100 dimensions changed to have better routing for the application. It has yet to be mounted and run, but hopefully sometime this summer it will finally find itself in use. Until then, enjoy these build photos and blurbs.

Re: The most EXPENSIVE moped exhaust ever: Build thread

The header is actually a slip-fit inconel part.

The stinger is a titanium tube drilled for muffling.

Thats as far as I got with it, need to build the next bike before I can complete the exhaust...

this is so sick! I'm going to (attempt) to make this this upcoming school year in welding class. Definitely a good project. I'm not amazing at it, but I've got a great instructor.
