I ordered a kit on dec 23 and am still waiting they claim its in their warehouse and they just haven't shipped it yet

I claim bullshit this place sucks donkey nuts

If 77 had a face I would punch the shit out of it

have you emailed dan? he took over customer service and will respond to your claim regarding you not receiving the part you ordered in a timely fashion.

although unadvertised, a majority of their product is drop ship

I also ordered on the 23rd. I called 2 weeks ago and was told my parts would ship in 1-2 more days. I called twice last week and after not getting a response, filed a paypal complaint. I emailed twice since then as I like to have information in writing when I'm being lied to. I haven't received a response. I will be following through with paypal if I don't receive a response back by Friday, which will be a month since I ordered. I will be calling them later today to give them one last chance to ship my order. They have been very unprofessional and have misrepresented the products and services they (supposedly) supply.

Just follow through with the claim. To give them yet another chance to do the right thing means there is no consequence for acting badly.

Lets see, their response (if any) should go something like this:

"Wow, due to a computer glitch this is the first we are hearing of this issue. We will be glad to send you the parts you have order if you still want them.

Feel free to call us directly if you ever have future complaints."

Any response you get will make it seem like its your fault.

1. they had no knowedge.

2. You don't really know what you want and kind of wasted out time

3. you didn't do what you should have.

To accept their service now will make you seem weak.

The complaints and warnings have been put in numerous posts since most of last year especially with the 2 different locations of the warehouses...Did you think the problem would just disappear and everything would be fixed...It wouldn't surprise me if the BBB would get involved in the near future...

I ordered a Minarelli v1 stock roller crank from them yesterday afternoon with 2-day priority shipping. I was a little hesitant because in the past any extra shipping option I chose never was used and I wasn't refunded the difference. I chose to take a chance and I am rather happy with the service I received from Dan. I placed the order, immediately emailed Dan to make sure the 2 day priority shipping would be used as I paid for it. He emailed me back within 15 minutes, letting me know it would ship today and that he would be in touch with me regarding the status. At 12:30pm CST today he sent me an email letting me know that it had shipped.

Honestly, that's pretty good customer service if you ask me. Granted, I have never tried calling them and I am aware of the drop shipping nightmares.

Up until now, I've had good luck with them. Would I ever buy from 77 again? Not a chance. All they had to do is respond and say it will be out in XX days, sorry for the delay....

I've had GREAT experiences with 1977. My last order was with their Indigan sale. I ordered at noon on Monday, by 2:00 I had a tracking number and the parts showed up on Thursday afternoon. Have I had the occasional miss ship? yes. Did Dan take care of it? Yes. Have I had the occasional miss ship from Treatland? Yes. Did Benji and his crew handle it? Yes. All of our parts we order are niche. I worked in a custom car shop for years and our orders were always wrong, damaged, or extremely late. We are all lucky we have these places to go to for parts and accessories. I'm NOT defending anyone here. Want your parts fast? Buy them before you need them because your state of the art moped is going to break down. PERIOD. This is just my "$0.02" and Welcome to the club : )

1. You've got to read an email to know if there's whining in it.

2. It doesn't matter if there is whining in it, the customer is always right.

3. Had things been done correctly, the email wouldn't exist.

Fuck it, anytime you order from '77 just go through paypal. File a claim if you don't see results.

That being said, I haven't even gone on their website in months. Don't see a reason too, I can get everything I need from treats on Lucky's in two days.
