i was riding around then i heard a scratching noise from the piston area i had just got a new piston and rings did i do it wrong and if i screatched the cilender wher the piston goes how do i fix that??

you do know that when you install new rings, that you can't run it at full throttle until it is broken in...right? about 300 miles at half throttle should do it.

Sounds to me you have the same problem as I did. I got water in the engine and all I had to do was change the oil. Give it a shot. I think this will work.

Just bite the bullet and pull the cylinder, then you can tell us what is wrong with it.
