Give me your front fender, gas cap, petcock and a gallon of clr. Speedometer useless piece of hardware. What's the compression and I going 25,30,35 or 40 depending on am I keeping up with traffic.
I know but I just have it attached but missing the damn cover, looks stupid. Also is that speed from gps or readings from speedo? Mine reads about double what it should read.
Post in the BS, a lot of guys had korados that they're parting out and never took more than a couple days to get a petcock and other things I needed.
I just meant in general that I never use a speedo. If it's broke don't fix it is what I do. The lens is cracked in one corner anyways. I will search around for bis and pieces as I go.
I just tore it down to be able to clean the tank out. Easier to work with just the frame. I snapped the bolt that runs thru the steering tube and I'm going to find a set of ebr's over the winter. The forks were bent anyway and now I don't have to try and straighten them. I was told the crank's aren't up to the task of a kit anyone have problems after boosting up a bit?
Found a half pack of cigarette butts in the tank. It was a little pitted and a lot of powdered fuel (hashish chunks). New petcock came from treats in 2 days and I'm on the east coast. On to the next stage of cleanup.
The crank should have needle bearings, ready for kit rpms.

fyi, i used a gerber baby food lid, screws right on the gas tank. I rattle can'd it black.
Looks pretty complete, don't chop it. I think that would be dumb unless this was pile of shit and you had to make something out of it.
See how fun they can be!
Sell it and buy a bus pass. You Hippy.
that front fairing is kind of cool in a weird way
Looking good. How long are the original forks btw?
Beauty!
Sweet.
Some good lookin bikes here
Stock forks are so spongy, the k10s will be better, did you have to do anything to the front wheel/axle to make it work? Brake stay lined up?
Ya, chop your thingy off.
Drill to match axle bolt. I need to weld a small amount to get wheel over another 1/8th inch. Stronger springs in my future.
Spongy forks are great for jumping sweet ramps
Hot rod style
ah that's a sweet saddlebag. Get that back and sell it to me!
