I just installed 2 white wall mc11 savas + tubes with no lube and only my hands. Savas as are easy even at room temp.

Baby powder works the best. Just sprinkle it all over the tire and tube while installing.

Just wanted to say, thank you so much for sharing this video, I've spent nearly 2 hours trying to put the tire on the old fashioned way 1 side at a time, even using screwdrivers, it was pretty much impossible after finding this video, it took less then 2 minutes.

I've been doing this with motorcycles for years. Makes sport bike tire installs a breeze.

I've used WD40 instead of soap, just sprayed round the rim a bit and it slid right on.

almost worked on a qt50 rim with Kenda tire. Nice thing is the tire envelopes the tube so you can take tire irons and work it the rest of the way on without worrying about puncturing tube.

I tried this with Sava B4 tires onto 17 inch motobecane wheels. Not even close to slipping right on. I had to crack out a pair of tire irons to finish the job and it took some serious stretching. Still, having the two beads acting as one to slip over was nice. I'm guessing some tire and wheel combinations are easier than others.

WHY DIDN'T I WATCH THIS YESTERDAY!!!!!! AARRRGGGGHHH!!! I spent a solid hour putting ONE on last night! And I have ample zip ties lying around fml.

I know right? When it seems like next to impossible putting it on the old fashioned way, using zip-ties and some oil/lube makes it it's so easy.
