We don't live in Europe jackhole.

And I'm thankful everyday where I live.

I hope to have the small amount of gas and wonderful magical 2 stroke oil to run my bikes for years .

No sales trend in sales of new 2-stroke mopeds.

$100 dollar good working moped? Very exceptional and unlikely. Almost an urban myth.

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

No sales trend of street legal e-bikes here. NY law specifically states these are illegal for use on public highways and can not be registered.

My Malagutti was $20 and I have put over 2500 miles on it. Not good working when I got it, but $50 for tires and tubes, a few hours of tinkering and it will last longer than an e-bike with a china sewing machine motor.

5 star General $100

(2) Motobacons $25 ea

Safari $100

Bianchi $20

(2) Malagutti's $20 ea

Not this again...

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

I rode one of the super nice e-bikes Second Stroke is selling, it was pretty fucking fun- if I had 2k to blow on something like that I would.

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

sit down, shut up, and learn something.

Electric is the wave of the future, but they need a good battery, once they get range they will be as useful as what we ride now.

Even with range they still can't refill on the go not to mention batteries weigh a lot more than a tank of gas so they're useless

Absolutely useless .

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

That's why we need advancements in ultra-capacitor technology for things like e-bikes to really take off. Imagine if you could recharge in the time it takes to fill your gas tank.

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

“You’re not as exhausted as you would be with a regular bike.”

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

running a bicycle on ultra-capacitors is like running a car on grenades

Re: E-bikes Rule the World!

One of the first engines ran on gunpowder, so I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing.
