So I took this rusty stock Baretta Magnum
and combined it with this beat Baretta Mini-City
and made this:
The Mini Gun- 1978 Baretta Mini Magnum
and just to show how small it actually is, here is my buddy Isaac for scale
I need a banana for scale please (Isaac might be big, I don't have an Isaac for comparison)
Nice build! (edited)
Isaac's banana FTW
Baretta Mayhem! Dope
That is amazing...
I'm in love!
Nice job man. Looks great.
I think you should sell it to me.
Here's me on it for scale. I'm 5'10"
This think is fun as shit to zip around on.
Still working out the gearing to get back up to speed. That tiny rear wheel had a remarkably small 24t. It's 10x42 for the moment, but I am waiting for a 12t for 12x42 which will put the ratio exactly back as it was with large wheels, and about 34mph top speed.
I would also like to point out, as i find it quite awesome, how the front fender mudflap beautifully fits under the angled plug head (stock, from another engine) . A factory straight plug head would interfere.
Searching deep into the internet I have found close to zero information on these Baretta Mini-City bikes, if that's even what they're called, I don't know. There is only a few references to them being called that here on MA, with no photo identification of said name. It is not listed in the MA photo directory, but I also don't know where the listed Baretta model names in the directory originally came from. It could be a Minisport, or maybe the Pistol?
The photo I supplied of the original mini Baretta is the most complete, unmodified/unpainted one I have found, even in it's derelict condition.
There is no specific model anywhere on the bike like all other Baretta's i.e; 22, 38, 44, Magnum. Just the usual Piccoli Motori info on the VIN badge. The strangest part is that every normal Baretta ALL have the Minarelli V1, but the tiny bikes have a Franco Morini.
I suppose I'm pondering unto myself, yet I relay this information for future mini Baretta's that might rise from the grave.
I'm so happy to see this!!! You got me so stoked on it when I wad up there. A+ WELL DONE
i like it. def getting a small wheels bike soon.
Another beautiful bike brought into the fold.
you wanna loan this to me at your rally next weekend...?
threw on a new 12t front sprocket with 42t rear, and we're back up to a healthy 35mph
