that biker arm thing

anyone ever notice that biker arm/fist wave thing. i like riding up on my yellow pa50(with bad mofo spikes on the fender) and doing that to big harley riders, just to see there reaction. i usually get one back.

solidarity is a beautiful thing.

luv,

Re: that biker arm thing

Where did you get those spikes? they sound pretty cool---

I guess i should go to a good bike shop and look at all the stuff I could add--

or maybe you got them "Mail order" maybe post a link?

Thanks in advance--

Wayne

Re: that biker arm thing

I want to ride my moped around on halloween, decked out in cyborg gear that makes me look like like I'm fused to my moped---

Not for high speeds or anything-- just to ride around really slow and be really creepy--- maybe play creepy mechanical sounds on the stereo.

I want my moped to be so "decked out" that it's silly--- the stereo and airorns are a good start, but I need neon and a huge antenna with a flag and anything else I can think of.

of course, I'll have a "naked" moped for rainy days or when I dont want to show off my pimped out bike.

Be careful, Wayne. This is where you're headed.

I think ratbikes are cool. Many of the bikes at the BBQ were pretty ratted out, too, from the pics I saw...

Have you been to "The RatBike Zone" ??

??

http://www.ratbike.org/

Lotsa ratbikes on there... (they have a forum also)

Go to the "gallery" and you can find several peds listed here and there.

When you get to the gallery... go to 'readers rides'.

Its mostly a Euro site.

Oh and... most any small bikes are called 'mopeds' there... pedals or not.

Ratbike.org is one of my favorite sites. I love the small bikes, the big bikes, trikes, etc. Once I get my Elite running as fast as I want it to, I may strip it down and rat it out...

I think it would look pretty funny parked next to the chromey yuppie Harleys at my favorite watering hole.

i just bought them at this clothing store in olympia, wa called Metro. They should be available at your local "alternative" store. Like where you go to get pierced.

I'll have to post a picture. All you have to do is drill a few small holes wherever you want to mount them. Or just use silicon or something. Be sure to use some Lock-Tite to prevent them from rattling loose and looking like a dork(like i did).

any other ideas for customizing?

I found a bunch of cool/cheap neon stuff at Target the other day. I was thinking of adding a battery to my ped to power some accessories.

How's your airhorn working out?
