$599.00 ZA50 ?

Just Bought a '78 Puch Maxi sport MK II with a pooched motor. Great frame etc, but it blew a hole on the right side gearbox cover. Anyone have experience with the new-appearing ZA 50 I see on EBay for $599.00 ?

Seems like big money, but would be cool to put a new 2 speed in

Post for one on MA buy sell they go for 75.00-150.00

Re: $599.00 ZA50 ?

All that guys stuff tends to be overpriced and never sells. It's been polished up and painted, but who knows what it's like internally. I think you would be better off buying some pucks, bearings and a cover to rebuild your existing transmission.

I wouldn't even consider buying something from someone who does this shit in an ad.

That seems expensive for a ZA. You could buy a complete ZA ped for about that much.
