Well if it sys 143 and they engineered into that an overbuild of some additional percentage, it easily explains why not everyone's ride is collapsing. I bet some of my patients would crush any and all of our rides if they were able to swing their legs over the side. I've now had two OR tables tip and I've caught both in mid air but I am sure the third will be the charm!!! I literally had a five hundred pounder last week. Most of our tables are now rated for five hundred with the base under the torso but when we do laparoscopic cases that also require a fluoroscope we have to cantilever the long part of the table. So now we have a 750 lb table and at another larger university center we also have 1000 lb beds. So yea be careful lending a bike without visually inspecting whom might be jumping on it. And if you are so sure they couldn't get on it ponder this: 400 lb women have no particular difficulty getting pregnant.
