I have been into mopeds for almost 20 years and have used 1977 mopeds more time than I can count. That being said I have heard every excuse known to man as to why my orders always arrive much much later than would be reasonably expected, my emails and phone calls do not get answered and my orders are consistently incorrect.
I think they just have a wheel of excuses they spin any time they decide to answer you....
we are moving,
we are moving again
we are understaffed
we are all volunteers
The guy that does that for us is moving, sick, just had a kid, is at a rally, overworked, developing new products, etc...
were moving again
porn baby! yeah!
our site crashed
our phones crashed
were updating everything
were waiting for parts from our warehouse in ......
rally time again
that one seems to have slipped through the cracks I will take care of it.
whoops it slipped again. (usually about 2 weeks later)
To say that shipping has been slow since the spring is kind of incorrect. More like the spring of 2010.
Dan, I have asked this question numerous times by email and website ticket and have always been ignored so I will ask it here now that we have your attention. I have a question that I have wondered about for some time. It concerns the Georgia warehouse. I know it is actually freds warehouse and that Fred has an amazing collection of bikes and parts but is the inventory from handybikes actually fred's or is it 1977s? If it actually belongs to Fred and 1977 was ordering parts as needed it could explain a lot of the most recent shipping delays.
