struggling up hills

how can i climb better, do lighter variator weights do the trick?

Re: struggling up hills

Only if your bike has them to begin with. Details?

Re: struggling up hills

ya it does. Honda NU50 with bx31 and a hi flow filter

Re: struggling up hills

Ditch the filter or jet properly for it, and yes, lighter weights.

Re: struggling up hills

well i got a size 90 and it didnt run well so i went back to stock, was the jet now to big?

Re: struggling up hills

Might have been, depends on the filter entirely. Either way, lighter weights=higher rpm before top gear=more power up hills. No, I will not tell you what weight to run, that is individual to a bike and setup. I can just say "lighter".
