Dont know how you guys in america attach digital speedos on your bikes, but this is my solution for a bike speedo on my maxi, might be helpfull

string the attachment between 2 spokes instead of the valvestem.

the close to the center, the less off balance the wheel will be, if it's able to be calibrated.

couldn't you have bought a tire instead of that, for the same price?

We've had some trouble over here with spark interference effecting the signal to the meter. I am sure a little shielding would fix it.

When I did mine I made a spacer under the pickup instead of the magnet. I wanted the magnet solid because of mad kinetic energies in the spiny bits.
