Hang it under the seat with zip ties!

Re: where do you put your plate on a Chow without a rack?

I've seen them with the plate turned vertical down by the axle like on a chopper. Some places this might get you pulled over for an improperly displayed plate.

The first guy doesn't have lights. Why would he need a license plate? And the second guy doesn't have a tail light.

Re: where do you put your plate on a Chow without a rack?

Ah yeah last time I had a sideways plate I got pulled over by a ghey ass Harley cop, didn't have insurance, and had to ride my bicycle for a year. Remember that? I'm not down for the sideways plate anymore. If I had insurance there's still an opportunity for a ticket. Make a bracket under the seat. Its rigid so it wont slam the fender on a pothole or whatever.

Re: where do you put your plate on a Chow without a rack?

man that's lame, around here they don't seem to care, I'd still put it so it's facing to the rear though.

Ya I got pulled over for a sideways license too.

It bothers some cops for some reason

Re: where do you put your plate on a Chow without a rack?

swoops don't need no stinking plates! and we park on the sidewalk!

you don't ever have to get cars inspected here either...

Re: where do you put your plate on a Chow without a rack?

weld a mounting tab to the underside of the seat

Re: where do you put your plate on a Chow without a rack?

Wow, it must suck to have to put a full size plate on a nice clean build. For it to look good, it can't be an afterthought. Here in Massachusetts we have tiny little stickers.

I make cool little brackets that bolt up behind the shock bolt. The bracket is slotted (as opposed to a hole) so all I have to do is loosen up the shock bolt and it pops right off so I can mount it on any unregistered bike (for tuning purposes only (of course)).
