New Army Division?

How do. I'm LaBryn, and i live in the greater grand rapids area. I stumble upon your website by an astounding accident. I'm currently repairing a Rally Sport Garelli 2 speed, and i was looking for some general information (ie. a manual), but insted i find, the MOPED ARMY, and i'm quite interested in forming a west michigan chapter. I personally own a Holiday Rambler Gaddabout (my personal). I'm helping fix a friends Garelli right now. I'm fully able to get members if i'm aloud to start my own chapter. Any thoughts?

Labryn, so you have a Gadabout as well. I have one and I thought I was alone. Awsome bike really. They pretty rare, I think, even for living minutes from the Holiday Rambler plant in Indiana.

A grand rapids branch would really make the network of Michigan riders complete. We don't do chapters by areas like "west michigan", but if you can get enough people in GR to fill out a branch application then we'll let you know when the review process starts next.

Be sure to stop by Kalamazoo this memorial day for the spring BBQ.

Nice one Joey. The motor city is not very friendly to moped riders, because if you aren't driving a huge SUV, you're not american! C'mon! We need those jobs! Go spend 30 grand on something that gets 12 mpg!

hey yeah i live in grand rapids also, i got to grand valley state university, and we have 3 moped riders here, we were thinking of starting a chapter also... maybe we can all contact eachother. it'd be cool to have more people to ride with.

I used to go to WMU I met dan in the jewelry workshop and he got me listening to jets to brazil. You remember me? I'm finishing my design degree now at Kendall.

Maybe you can help me find a moped, or advice on which is a good one / value.

Try emailing everyone who is from the area and get an email discussion. It might work better than the noise place this can be sometimes.

Hey guys, Sorry about the post and no reply or start up of new division. I lost computer contact for quite a while, and realized how nice it was to stay away from technology. Well obviously times changed.

I had the moped all the way up to the end of this summer. I got in a pinch and had to trade it for debt. The new owner is the singer of my band, and he loves it to death. He made mention to helping start a GR division, and I'll try to coax him hard to doing so.

Just to give you guys a little closure, I appologize for such a late reply. Hopefully you will see my resurrected gaddabout on the streets this summer. Original everything.

00-03-06, with 3 posts from Simon. Zowie. I wish people would quit going back and bringing up old threads from years ago. Very confusing. I'm not familiar with the software this site uses, but it sure would be nice if it could automatically lock any thread over 1 year old. It would still be there for reference, but couldn't be added to anymore. This has happened a lot lately. Peace. Jerry.

I think its actually pretty great, not only is this a 6 year old thread, but the person who originally started this thread came back and rejuvenated the thread, he was obviously not confused about how old it was
