Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

Francis I know I'm a bad ass.

It's also been a while since someone made a fake joe peg account. Hopefully this one is actually funny.

Ps I ride my mb5 more than y'all ride your mopeds anyway ;)

I was hoping this fake joe would post more.

Will I should just start making fake versions of myself. I've been too bored to troll properly though.

Mopeds - Dinosaurs

Ebikes - Mammals.

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

just remember that a freak catastrophic accident allowed mammals to not be at the bottom of the foodchain.

i prefer to think of them like sailboats, superior arcane tech.

and if you think you are doing something good for the enviroment you are wrong, coal fired power plants, raping 3rd world countries for lithium.

one day there will be an additve in the gas to undo global warming.

i think a little bleach can get rid of that culture. BTW

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

Funny.

heh, heh, heh,,,

Well the mammals at this stage have some puny features like pathetically short duration before recharge. I am not sure which as a larger carbon footprint and human cost 1 mile on gas or 1 mile on battery power. I strongly suspect that 2 stroke motors are much worse particularly in terms of air pollution. Hence the Chinese choice to limit 2 stroke motors and pick e-bikes over internal combustion powered scooters.

There is a potential for battery power to evolve, probably a much poorer bet that internal combustion engines are going to evolve in efficiency. I know of intense research for better batteries and fuel cells, not so much for internal combustion motors. (edited)

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

Stop it......

My brain hurts.

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

♣Slew Foot♣ /

there are 83% efficient 2 stroke motors.

nobody wants to make them. see the fuel injected evenrude, square piston, bugotti's t1,t2,t3 prototypes, and rand hemisheric motors

i bet them folks in fukiyama are happy with their ebikes, and geewiz

i dunno about averages, i think that if i was driving a newer car that gets 30 mpg naybe, that i still would be more eco freindly using a moped that gets 100 mpg just cause i don't haul 1000+lbs of metal with me.

some one should really get some #s on this. i think that if a 2t is propperly tuned and jetted it would be more efficient than a hummer or a minivan.

then look at the impact from the massive car industry, you know how toxic those batteries are? what just ship it to nambia with all our computer toxins? see when all this crap was selling, gasoline was $4+, now that we are raping the oilholes with fracking we have way more oil than we can use.

very very small frame of mind, the bigger picture everyone misses.

why are we in afganistan? lithium. pakistan was the country that actually trained the terror cells but there is nothing of any worth there. iraq at least had oil.

antibiotics have no effect on moped culture, BTW

all that tech you speak of has been available for the last ten years, no one wants to sell a battery that charges in 2.5 minutes and fully discharges in 2.3 seconds if need be and is only carbon/nickel/iron. reason? they do not break or wearout. then there is the grid it would be hard pressed to buy back all the extra power left over.

Hey joe if mopeds are over, can I have your blaster pipe for blasting things?

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

the moped scene in michigan is exploding with tons of new people and all sorts of great builds. its the best it has ever been right now in my area, the MA forums are the only thing thats gone down hill.

Re: RIP: moped culture & moped army

The MA forums have gone downhill because they let pozers and trolls post on here

Please do not reply to anything David Knudtson (ecompeds) says on the forums. He is only here to provoke arguments and get attention.

Yeah I caught my mistake.

I don't think people fully realize the implications levied on CFMOTO and LIFAN and the company formerly known as Baron in MN. Lots of scooters folks will not be happy. But those guys "doctored" the EPA certs so serves them right.
