According to my currency converter, they are selling 70cc bore kits for 48 bucks, and really cheap exhausts. Is this for real?!

your currency converter may be a little bit off.. but their prices are super good...
a euro is worth about .85 cents... i think their prices are listed in euros on the item pages, but in guilders (more than a US dollar) on the shopping cart thing.
i got a proma circuit exhaust for my PA50II for like 70$ including shipping from holland.

That didn't include shipping. But it's still awesome. I just made confermation and have some money to burn. Should I go with the 70cc bore kit or an exhaust?
what moped do you have? the puch? i would honestly suggest an exhaust and bigger carb.. bore kits are kind of a pain in the ass since you have to baby them so much...

hey there,
just wondering about the exhaust that you got for your pa50II. how is it? did you have to do any other adjustments?
i'm thinking about getting one myself.

I wouldn't say that you have to baby a big bore kit. You just need to make sure that you break it in properly, like any other new cylinder piston setup. I heard that you should use a 40:1 mix with a 70cc kit, and run it at half throttle for 300 miles. You shouldn't have any problems after that. I know a kid that has had a 70cc kit on his puch for like 2 years and never had a problem. You just have to break it in right.
Should I get a biturbo and clinder kit? It's cheap, And my engine still makes the noise. It doesn't seem to be hurting anything, given that it's unchanged after over 200 miles. I will get the biturbo probaby and only get the cylinder if I blow somethingg. Also, mine is a 2hp. If I order a standard maxi clyinder, will it be 1.5? Or is it the cylinder head and carb that delivers the horsepower. Any feed abck ould be appreciated. I still wish that buzzing noise ould go away. Maybe with the biturbo the exhaust noise will mask it :)
Casey just put the pipe on and used the mixture screw to richen it up a little. That is all he needed, and it flies!
I have also heard that 70cc kits on two speed Puchs isn't such a hot idea.
I have heard that, too.
Anyone have any explanations why?
Is it too much strain on the transmission?
yeah, i just had to adjust the mixture screw a little.. it gave my top end a huge increase and along with the ramp variator mod, my honda is like a damn rocket now. good luck!

The Two Speeds are not as sturdy when pushing more power and tend to slip a lot.
50cc.nl is GREAT! Their prices are awesome and they are quick to ship ( as long as you don't buy a lot that weighs more than what they can ship priority... if they have to ground ship it, customs will keep you waiting FOREVER!, and they ripped up my package pretty badly... )
Marcel is a real cool guy to... If you can get what ya need here though, especially if it is a good price, support your US moped shops...
oh yeah....forgot about the variator mod that we did.
honda's are variator driven, they don't have a transmission, so to speak.
Thank you> I have bought a lot of junk from the moped junkyard, but the price of the biturbo is so much lower on 50cc.nl....
anybody know 50cc.nl email address. I couldn't find it on their website.
thanks

How is their service. Are they reliable? I have to send postage with the credit card information, right? Is there anybody who has done this before who can give me advice?
They're reliable, several people in Cincinnati have ordered from them. I just did, like this--
I placed the order, on the website, and it told me my "order number" and told me that I'd have to fax my credit card info to them, with the order number, before they'd send my stuff.
So I printed out the fax sheet they showed me when I had ordered, and faxed in my info. Then I got an email saying my exhaust was on the way.
