That is a great picture. Inspires one to want to go to a barbecue. Hey, do you see that hot Puch, the green one? Sweet bike.
Also, those cardboard cut-outs under every single moped are a great idea. I try to do that with leaky peds around my house, and think it's a good policy.

Those are actually carpet squares. We've had them for the last few BBQ's, and they've worked out great. They not only keep the area around the moped clean, but they clearly mark a spot for a particular moped to be - keeping the parking lot organized.
They got thrown out by a bastard landlord though, because they were being stored in the basement where they technically shouldn't be. I'm looking for some similar to use this year.

Simon... from all those pics... do you think there are any pics of the 3 or 4 'fastest' peds from the race deal you do ?
That would be fun.
There should be some photos of the race finish - i'll be sure to have someone snap some. i don't think we have any clear shots of the winners from the previous races -- everyone was too busy racing.

I was way wrong.
My bad - I was using a fake name earlier to make some test posts -- testing out some new features. I forgot that it would remember the last name I posted under...that's pretty silly.

emily's sister is thinking she may want to come up just to take pictures on monday.. it would be kind of cool to have a "photographer" hanging out that wont be riding. ill find out if she is still wanting to come.
and dont start crying, TBS people.. she wouldnt have to squeeze in with us. if she does come, she would just drive up monday. =]

Another cool thing is that John Wagner and some friends of his are making a documentry of the BBQ - professional style video cameras and everything. They work in the TV biz, so they know what's up. Should be cool - they might to "helmet cam" shots.
