I cant make the ride but you all will have a pleace to crash in Pennsylvania on your way down if youd like.

I will definatly go.. im about 10 miles north of the florida line.

My girlfreinds house on the lake is about 2 miles north... might make for a good stopping point.

I haven`t heard from Don yet? So i don`t what he thinks about the idea yet, but i would love to do it, or attempt it anyway! A lot of people think i`m nuts for even thinking about it!

But i think Don would do it if he can? Don is the king of "long haulers"

I f i could actually get some people to go, it would take some serious planning. That is why i would want to do it next summer. We would need to stay on the back roads as much as possible and away fron big cities Planning out a route would be a major job! I would want t o sleep in motels at night! I am not into sleeping bags by the side of the road!

Duck, i think we could find a route that would take us close to your neighborhood? But you should haul your ped up here and ride back down with us!! I know its a crazy idea, but the more i think about it the more i like the idea!!! It would definately be an adventure of a lifetime!!

I was wondering what the law would be when traveling through different states, but i think it would be no different than riding a motorcycle from state to state? I would think if your ped was legal in your home state it would be legal in any state you pass through, but i could be wrong? Ohio does not require a helmet, but if i ride my Shadow through a state that requires a helmet, i have to wear a helmet when i pass through that state!

Interstate travel on a moped may be illegal??

Hey! I`M fine! Whats up with the crutches?? What happened to ya?? I was wondering why you haven`t came out for our spring ride through the country??

What do you really think about this Florida trip?? Would you really go if this actually did take place? I know i am serious!!!! I will go if i can get anyone else to go and if i can get off work long enough to do it!!!

I think we should follow General Sherman`s path on his "march to the sea" I don`t think we should burn Atlanta though!! LOL!!!

The rear moped would have to wear really bright colors and extra reflectors... come up with something to alert drivers on those back roads--- I will have time next spring/summer for a long trip-- this would be a lot of fun. over time, with a planned route, this could become an annual event.

The hardest part, it seems, is planning a route you know will be low speed zones... the second hardest thing would be being safe--

city trips can be a real scare--- nevermind a rural road zoned at 45 with blind curves in the evening.... that's scary.....

I think we'd need a good mechanic with the group... tools....extra gas... lots of "just in case" stuff

but the end result would be worth the effort.

hey i m setting up a ride around a large lake, lake winnebago thats 70 miles around and i wasnt sure if i wanted to go but now that you guys are planning on this long ass trip my small walk around the lake seems like a breeze good luck ill c what i can do to go with you guys

it would be good to travel with atleast one truck... for gas.. a spare ped, a tool box and things like that. Sometimes a ride that long for us that don't often go a long trips might be kinda hard and I would thikn some of us might chose to sit a few miles or town out. just thorw you pe in the truck and relax some. I dunno.. I think a grill and coolers would be smart as well.
