Trying to replace a mirror

on a 2001 Kinetic TFR. The guy I bought it from has a small mirror that obviously doesn't go with the moped. I looked online for a replacement, but no luck. Any ideas where I can find one? I tried Treatland, but no luck. I've also been told that a Hobbit mirror might work. Anyone know if that's true? Thanks!

treats has tons of mirrors. is your stalk 8mm or 10mm?

Treats has some that should fit. If they don't, figure out the threading size and get some motorcycle mirrors off of Ebay that screw into your brake levers. If you have a scrapyard near your house that has motorcycles you should be able to find some there too and they'll probably be cheaper than you can get them online.

most motorcycle mirrors are 10mm. most moped perches are 8 mm

Ah, didn't know that. I had a pair of mirrors that either came off a dirtbike or motorcycle from the 80s that someone gave me on my TFR when I had it so I just assumed.

Regardless, here are a shit ton of 8mm mirrors on Ebay.

or just perouse the Emgo catalouge. Most motorcycle dealers buy from them and can order you up anything in the book. They have dozens of styles that fit

You are not looking behind you to see where you just were, but for what is comming up behind you wanting to be where you are.

Re: Trying to replace a mirror

they also make 10-8 mm adaptors to fit motorcycle mirrors to mopeds

Re: Trying to replace a mirror

Let him ride without mirrors. Maybe we'll be rid of him soon then.

^Good point Mars, between that and making zip guns the "Darwin rule" may well claim him sooner than later.

Re: Trying to replace a mirror

I have a pair of original ones, they're pretty much new, make me an offer.
