okay my bike was not idleing so after checking everything else I decided to move the stator plate. First I advanced it.

The bike still would not idle and I heard a slight nock so I put it back to the original setting. no idle so I turned it a little the other way, my puch back fired. I set it back to the original setting. won't start. move the stator plate either way and it won't start. I took a closer look and now the points are opening when the piston is all the way in. haven't messed with it much since. I have been researching how to set my timing. I'm going to buy and ohm meter I guess and sit down and try to get it right. still I don't understand much about timing after all I have read. I would give my left nut to get this bike running(It's my gurlfreinds puch and she hasn't been able to ride with me so I won't ride with out her.)Anyone who reads this sorry post, Thanks.
