It seems that the info on the ramp variator mod is no longer in the forum. Anyone have a copy?
thanks,

make sure you read all of the follow ups to get a good idea of what is going on...
also, just an idea... chris says something about adding lead fishing weights to make the roller weights heavier.. i didnt do that and it still worked. you may have to experiment a little with the weights. good luck!
i'd also reccomend a performance exhaust from 50cc.nl... the proma circuit for the Honda Camino bolts right on with no mods needed...

cool. thanks for the link. yeah, i was checking out 50cc.nl. The exchange rate on the Euro is pretty decent right now. so does the proma circuit makes a big difference?
made a HUGE difference...
the honda's stock exhaust is very restrictive by nature... i would actually get the exhaust even before doing the variator cutting... since you cant "undo" the variator mod. you may get the performance you want from the exhaust alone. just make sure you do the plug chops with the expansion exhaust on to make sure you arent running too lean. there is a mixture screw on the carb to adjust the amount of air to gas your engine gets... i had to fiddle with that a little bit after putting the exhaust on. no big deal. you can reach it without dismantling anything. if you have any more questions, lemme know.
