I have done some investigating. I have been riding, building and selling mopeds for 5 years. There are not too many mopeds that are worth near that much. If you had a Puch Magnum LTD (only 500 made) or a Batavus Grand Prix(Puegot engine) it would be worth between $1000-$1500, maybe more for the LTD, the most rare of mopeds. The Honda Express is one of the least liked Mopeds( really a noped since it has no pedals) unless it's an Urban Express, those are slightly better.
In any case most mopeds(vintage) are worth between $300-800 if running and in good shape. You will find out when you get no offers at your extremely high aksing price. Why don't you go to MopedArmy.com and do some investigating for yourself. Just because it's 33 years old does not mean it has turned to gold.
