Rear motorcycle stands

Christian Giron /

Put big pipe, no longer have centerstand and I'm going to have to put a side stand on it but it's easier to tune when the rear wheel is up.

What rear motorcycle stands do you guys buy? Will they fit mopeds or are there specific smaller sized ones and where can I get them locally?

Re: Rear motorcycle stands

I've been wondering the same thing. Mine has a side stand on it and I'll admit it's quite a pain to work on.

I though of maybe just building one. Would probably be cheaper and if build to be adjustable can be used for any bike really (within its weight capacity of course).

Re: Rear motorcycle stands

I've made simple ones out of 2x4's but if you can weld it wouldn't be hard to come up with something.

Re: Rear motorcycle stands

The t-Rex is good for the money, but pit bull makes the really nice ones. For a moped, though, buy the cheapest one.

buying this, thanks for pointing me in the right direction waffles!

Apparently the build quality is questionable, so the reviews suggest to go in store to examine the welds before buying, but for a 100lb moped, should be good to go.
