Hi all,
I post as Zombie on Kymco Forum, http://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=a4b8qh3fo4qeeifsfu3hiji3r5& and Scooter Invasion. http://www.scooterinvasion.net/forum/
I am also a member here from 3 or so years ago but cannot remember the account. It is most likely just plain Zombie.
The reason I am posting is I recently purchased an HPI inner rotor kit w/ programmable one curve cdi. I installed the TuneBox 4 software/driver on XP pro sp3. I can open/manipulate the program but nothing saves. I cannot save a new project to the computer or to the cdi. The program goes as far as "get data" where it is supposed to talk to the cdi, and report on the make/specs of the cdi but does not read the cdi. Instead I get an error message stating "check the usb connection". Does anyone have any experience with setting this up, or maybe has seen this issue? There is a Pict of the bike it is going in on my info page It's an '05 ZX 50 that I am anticipating high 80's if not low 90's mph. I have some threads on the other forums if anyone wants to see the picts of the latest build as it is progressing.
I'm NOT trying to spam my build here. It's just most of the google searches for info on the cdi lead to you. I'm glad I found the forum once more because I have read a few of the recent posts, and feel I can help out some here as I try to do at the other forums. Especially the creep that has been stealing parts/money, and hurting the reputation of the crew he was riding with. Someone drag that fagots ass to the local cop shop, and beat his ass in front of the cops till he fesses up. Don't let a rotten F like that near you!
Sorry bout the babble... I hope someone can help w/ the cdi, and I always pay it forward. Thanks Z~
