Re: Just got a moped...in pieces.

Try grounding them. (attach the exposed wire to the frame somehow)

I don't see a horn, they probably go there.

Not from the headlight, I can't tell what color the wires are. They may go to the speedo light.

You may also have a bad bulb.

Bump...in case those of you who followed and helped me build this moped when I was 14 -- just wanted to update you and tell everyone that 9 years in, it's not done and sitting in my basement.

8+ years in the making, nice jorb!

Re: Just got a moped...in pieces.

2k for a maxi? A good runner is 800!

Re: Just got a moped...in pieces.

How about putting down the funny stuff you are smoking and sell it to someone who will love it. Or shove it back into your basement. Maybe your kids can sell it one day and make that small fortune off it.

I don´t get it. You got a Puch Maxi 9 years ago, for free. But you didn't take the time and effort to get it to run. And now you are asking USD 2.000 for it.

I live in Denmark. And here the prices for Maxis has gone sky high. A fully restored Puch Maxi easily cost 12-15.000 Danish kr. That is 2-2.500 USD. But you are asking that, for a Maxi in a cardboard box. Keep it another 9 years and think of it as an investment. ;-)
