Can an E50 be tuned for good city riding? I want to be able to accelerate as fast or faster than most cars so I can avoid them.
One of the main reasons I like the ZA for riding with a lot of traffic/lights/stops is acceleration.
Can an E50 get close to ZA in terms of acceleration, if you do all the stuff possible like lighten clutch, springs, change sprocket and use a pipe with good low-end?
On the e50 run 12-54 .. let me know how the wheelies are!
Only thing I'm worried about running that kind of gearing is RPMs at higher speeds. I want to go fast too.

Aftermarket 3 shoe suck
Two shoe, braced, kickstart springs, reed kit, pipe. Zoom zoom.
Za will out accelerate an e50 with the same kit any day.
Ran a za50 polini 15 bing estoril for probably a thousand miles before i (stupidly) sold it. Great city set up. Good pick up, fast enough to keep up with cars in the city, and very reliable. I understand it's still running great.
Ya a Estroil, polini, e50 combo with even a mild tuned clutch can be very quick
at take off and still have good top speed with middle gearing 17-18x40
