WOW! No suspension and cantilever brakes!! Never seen one like that, maybe worth cleaning up and keeping stock, you may never see another!

The guy I bought it from said he got it in Quebec so I'm thinking it could be either euro or Canadian . This is the first 40N that I've ever seen in Ontario .
There's plenty of 40T's here .
The bottom end was all gunked up and the piston had a chip in the skirt , so I'm going to rebuild it .

Quebec was flooded with Motobecanes, Peugeots and Solex in the 1960-1970s as they were trying to get the Quebecois to French-up on their rides! There are a lot of camp bikes out there still waiting to be discovered... and a lot still driving Oncle Jean-Pierre around the farm areas, they were popular to get out to the fields so you did not have to keep driving the old Ferguson back to la maison!
