SHould I be in good hands?

Danny STringer /

Im kinda new at this and I am wondering, for the average ped, should I get any type of insurance or just leave it and be careful?

Re: SHould I be in good hands?

You get your license? for riding a moped yet?

Re: SHould I be in good hands?

It's cheap, 94 bucks/year in my case. It's like a handgun. You hope you never need it, but if you do you'll be glad you have it.

No to young, minor details. And Matt, where do you get moped insurance?

Through progressive. It was about the same (94/yr) for motorcycle insurance <500cc. You can pay for the whole year, or 6 months at a time.

Nice thanks

Re: SHould I be in good hands?

Well in pa you legally must have insurance on all motor vehicles. That unfortunately includes mopeds. In fact you can't even register a vehicle/have it titled in your name without first showing proof of insurance. So not a total waste of money if it keeps you legal.

Re: SHould I be in good hands?

I was just about to say.. Not until oct. in mary land then you will need a title, reg stickers, insurance, helmets, No more outlaw mopeedding!

Re: SHould I be in good hands?
