Strange doings at 1977Mopeds...every time I visit the page, it hangs up on something and won't load the page. Sometimes you can click Reload and it'll go, but most times it just says 'Connecting' and sits there doing nothing.
Have they had server issues lately?
Same results on Internet Exploder, Firefox and Chrome.
Always happens to me. Main reason I don't order from them, site is slow and search function sucks. Yay for Treats!

I use chrome, and the only issue I've had is sometimes when I delete something from my cart another thing will delete without my permission, but I use that sight allot with only minor problems.
I hate the 77 site I can't even use the back a page function. Plus I live near treats. Treats ha.
1977 needs to take a look at there shipping calculator, for a small part the rate is 25$+ same part from treats cost 5$ to ship.

we may need them both, or we may need treats to take over thier warehouse... i ordered 300 bucks worth of stuff from the 2 combined, the treats stuff arrived 4 days after i ordered, the 1977 stuff still hasnt come, and its been two weeks...
i called them, they told me they would call me back when they have more info, and still silence. apparently, they cant find one of the jets i wanted...

It's because 77 charges a handling fee....they even say it .
The search function sucks, but it's weird because it used to be awesome.
i have to use a different computer if i order from treats. it goes al the way through the process until i try to confirm and it never goes through on my lap top
It always locks up so its not from updates. Its the main reason I quit buying from them. I posted about it on facebook but got no reply so i said screw em. If I really needed something I would just call I guess. Not sure if they have phone suport or not anymore.
the 1977 site blows. I will and do not order from them unless i HAVE to just because of how poorly designed the interface is. even when it is working right..

The shipping thing is what kills me - I put in an order recently for a handful of small stuff, probably around a half pound total max - and they wanted like 18 bucks for priority shipping?! Is this just the calculator being messed up or some handling charges or what? Seems pretty ridiculous.

No, it's not the calc that's screwed up - shipping is outrageous and when coupled with their handling charges .... I've quit ordering from them for several reasons. One is they don't take paypal WTF it's 2012. They are johnny on the spot when you want to order ...but when you get an item that has a problem no one wants to talk to you - emailed them four times regarding a bad headlight (to every address they have listed) not one answer!
I'm going with Treats - fair shipping, quick shipping, paypal ...and service! I'm happy.
Change is near... that's all im saying. Just wait.
