Thanks Cosmo- its actually a Honda Runaway, a JDM Urban Express. It even has an old Yokohama Prefecture license # sticker on it, and all the on bike safety labeling etc is in Japanese. I gotta leave the paint and decals as they are. And yes, I found an air filter lol.

My Derbi likes a bit of off roading when riding down Turnbull Canyon.
It is kinda of fun to get the back wheel drift while turning.

Simple Answer:
If your moped can't hop a curb, ride over grass, mud or lawnchairs; you may not always be able to get away from the cops.

hell yeah who says mopeds aint meant for off road
the only reason they have that sticker that says for on road use only is cause they dont have a US forestry approved spark arrester and youre supposed to have that to get an OHRV registration i had one on my jawa for NH state trails my tomos will have one soon too
my jawa went better in the mud than my friends pit bikes they would be broke down all the time the jawa would just keep going and going
my new tomos goes great in the trails and mud but the stupid road tires suck the knobbys should be here wednesday

i blast thru a lot of alleys in savannah. that's not even dirt tho, mostly broken glass and garbage. i ride thru whatever is between me and the poon tang.
