Sold in Canada and in France. Both variated and non-variated versions. I bet it would be easy to bring in, but I imagine it would be difficult to title if the VIN was not USA-approved.

I bet you would have some trouble with customs at the border, unless you actually rode it over.
Since it appears to be a 2 stroke , importation would be on an individual basis. You would have to talk to customs to see if they would bar it if found out.
Its a neat bike but if I bring a bike back from Canada it will be a fizzy or even better, a RZ500
looks like a camino. big time.
i think a guy was parting out a fizzy on ebay recently. nice bike.
It is a 2t so you would have to try individual importation
If you come and visit Canada you can buy one of those no problem, however, as they did not pass CMVSS in Canada they are currently not approved for "highway use" which means that you can not register it for the road in Canada. Some have made it onto the streets though from somehow slipping through the cracks. Probably have to do some heck of a flip to get it licensed in US.
For the same money you can build a much better vintage bike
I would just slap on a CT Moped plate and move on.
motobrokane! hahah, we were just remembering his plans to do that last night.
859 Euro ain't too bad...
Due to the fact that Canada , United States and a couple other industrialized countries are saving the world's atmosphere, only Communist China and some Third World shit holes can have their billion or so (2T) mopeds.
Someone has to pay for environmental justice. (edited)
Well unless you have the money to buy policy with the EPA like all large coorporations...
Actually there are some pretty heavy restrictions on 2 strokes in China.
I don't know if they are straight up outlawed but thats the reason you see all these shitty 4 strokes dominating the scooter/small motorcycle market.
But back to the item at hand, that would be kickass if they could be imported.
I am sure you could figure it out.
All these companies importing Chinese scooters break laws willy-nilly.
There are all kinds of little tricks and shell companies and "independent importers" that make anything possible like that.
It's possible to smuggle/cheat them in, but there will be (as there is now for all that 4T crap) virtually no parts support.
Like Peugeot?
when you bring it over the border, which is easy, you just register it as a different moped.
Kind of like how there are a lot of older skylinesGTR's in the states under nissan maxima registration or other bs like that. They all came over the border from Canada.
And you can get it with safety AIR-BAG vest to.
3. Accessoires

I paid 850 euro for a used Tomos Quadro with 3568 km on it last year! Didn'T even know this existed. The variated unit is 950 Euro. If and when I ever wear out my Tomos, I want one of these variated mopeds.
Enjoy.
i would only get one in white...it is the sex

Wow, not even certified in Canada where Peugeot sells it? I would imagine (without knowing) that if it passed Canadian tests, then under U.S. law it would be easier to import. If you know, was it emissions or safety or something else? If Tomos can pass, then why not Peugeot?
Wait, what is so special about that?
Something new to break... duh.
it was rumored that indian tribes might be freindly to the cause and let you cross thru the reservation that has its own border then its just filling out forms or getting BOS from non titling state.
Yes, how many do you want? What color?

.................and a vintage 103 is variated, a Vogue isn't variated.
^YEEEUP. Got a bunch of 'em if you want 1.
Not sure about the one in Canada, but the Vogue in France comes in a variated version. It is just 100 euros more than the base model.
