Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

I just sacrificed an aluminum moby front wheel to relace my hobbit rear 17"

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

Is it 36 or 32?

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

treats!

I couldn't find anything on eBay. Maybe an older used CR80 rim would work? They're 17" but I'm not sure about the hole count.

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

oh shit they might be 32, im a asshole

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

You can re-drill rims to have different number of holes

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

Really? they won't be evenly spaced though. guess it probably doesnt matter that much but at that point couldn't you just omit the extra holes in the hub more easily?

Anyhow, you coan pick up some rad heavy duty dirtbike rims, (and in sweet anodized colors) pretty easily. try searching for the suzuki RM80, I know at least those run 36 hole 17's

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

Actually you can space the holes perfectly. You need to measure the circumference and do simple math

Re: looking for 36 hole rims.

yeah but when you factor in the diameter of the hole you'll more than likely end up having to basically elongate an existing one. Its not like you're going from 6 to 5.
